We have all experienced this style of fumble in a delivery and all that was going through your head was “it does not matter, move on” right? Maybe you too are guilty of this.
When sharing an anecdote, getting stuck on the small details like this detracts from the overall point you are trying to make.
If a minor detail has no bearing on the overall validity of the story, pick one, move on to the real juice.
The confidence and flow of storytelling is just as important as the story itself. Maybe more.
