Some Sydneysiders would argue we have the most beautiful harbour in the world with its centrepiece being the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
In all its engineering beauty it can also be Sydneys biggest bottleneck. If ever there is an issue on the bridge anyone in traffic within 10km of the city suffers. The entire city can come to a grinding halt and entire days are thrown out of whack.
When it happens, everyone knows about it.
