There is a museum in LA where visitor are confronted by two doors, one is labelled “Prejudice”, and the other is labeled “Not Prejudice”.
Visitors are forced to make a decision which door to go through.
The door marked “Not Prejudice” for those who try it, is locked.
Like it or not (admit it or not) we all have our biases and tend to hunker down on them once attached.
The more fixated you are, the more you seek out justification and ignore other perspectives.
In a time when the world feels increasingly divided, consider being more open to listening and broadening your understanding as a way to bring us to together.
