There are many firsts and many lasts in our lifetime.
Our first steps, words, day at school etc.
As we get older these seem to turn into lasts.
The last backpacking trip through Europe, the last day I had to pickup the kids from school everyday and many in-between.
Sadly too, the last chat or embrace from a family member or friend before they passed.
We could all do better at appreciating the seeming insignificant moments rather than rushing to get to the next thing.
