She was carrying all the weight on her shoulders.

As my daughter haphasardly filled her backpack it was evident it was not going to be pleasant to haul around.

The key to a comfortable walk is all about weight distribution. Even on each side, heavier on top but the weight needs to sit on your hips and not your shoulders.

Metaphorically I sense a lot of people carry what appears to be the weight of the world and yet if you ask them how they are going, the response is invariably “good”

When you share your concerns, more often than not the act of doing so lightens the load.

Same amount can feel considerably lighter.
