#0056 Is it FAILURE or CRITICISM You Fear?

Nobody LIKES to fail but is it really this that is holding you back from MAKING decisions and taking action?

I would hazard a guess that you are MORE fearful of what people will think and SAY about your actions than the potential failure itself.

RUBBISH, it will NEVER work, why would anyone PAY for that!

People by nature, just like the school yard bullies can be CRUEL and their criticism can have a lasting affect. But what if the mere fact that people are WILLING to criticise your idea is in essence what makes it INTERESTING?

The reality is that MOST ideas don’t start off PERFECT, they evolve. If you take this into PERSPECTIVE and use the criticism to your advantage then MAYBE you won’t fear it as MUCH.

  • If the idea is half INTERESTING it will be worth criticising.
  • The Criticism will help you REFINE your idea.
  • You won’t please EVERYONE so criticism is expected.
  • The longer you HESITATE the further from your GOALS are you.

This reminds me of a passage in Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich” which goes like this:

“Life is a checkerboard, and the player opposite you is TIME. If you hesitate before moving, or neglect to move promptly, your men will be wiped off the board by TIME. You are playing against a partner who will not tolerate INDECISION!”

Take Criticism by the horns and TURN it to your advantage.

  1. Dear Jewels!

You see me through, my doubts, fears, indecision, the impass I have trapped myself in.

If I take my business off the ground, it’ll be thanks to you!
