As a self confessed introvert I am not excited by the premise of large crowds particularly if I am expected to converse such as at a networking event.
Give me a small table in the corner of a cafe one-on-one any day.
With any activity there is a transfer of energy.
Some things will give you energy like you could do cartwheels. Others will drain and you will want a nap.
Make a conscious effort to ensure that if you must do an energy sapping activity you surround it with those that give it back.
That way you will get to the end of the days and weeks feeling energised rather than depleted.
