#0304 New Things

I have started teaching my 16 year old daughter how to drive.

There are a lot of nerves, anxiety and tension in the car (mostly from me).

We started slowly with low speeds in a quiet neighbourhood and as time goes on we are venturing further and into more difficult scenarios.

It can be challenging to not over-react when you have just experienced a near miss.

I have to remind myself that we all have to start from zero and it is these near misses that guide us as to where our limits are.

Limits today however are not necessarily the limits of tomorrow as we continue to grow and move around new streets. Just because you could not do it once does not mean you should not try again.

As frustrating and nerve racking it can be, we should not be afraid to attempt new things.

The learners of today will be the leaders of tomorrow.
