There is no lack of free information on this planet.
In particular there is no lack of people willing to give you free advice. There are also plenty of opportunities to pay for advice.
The world has become full of professors with no credentials and no experience.
So how can you decipher good from bad?
I have changed my perspective on learning. An old saying is “do as I say, not as I do”. I am now calling BS on that.
It is easy to have an opinion, it is easy to know what to do on paper, it’s a whole other ballgame to do, to act, to fail, to tweak, to try again, to push through, to succeed.
I am now intently watching and learning from those who do rather than those who say. It has not only reduced a whole lot of noise and distraction, but it gives me comfort to learn from those who have achieved before me.
Sounds simple but this small tweak has given me space and clarity in my personal journey.
