I was in my happy place on the weekend, the garage.
Tools were out and I was working on a project I had been planning for a couple of years and finally got around to doing it.
Part of the process was using an angle grinder to clean up the welds on a frame I had just made. It is noisy, dirty and sparks fly everywhere.
In a fraction of a second, the tool slipped taking a nice gouge out of my finger right through the glove. Not once, but twice.
Quickly assessing the situation, I was fine, there was no blood, I soldiered on.
There are always going to be unplanned or unexpected occurrences in any endeavour, business and life can be a rollercoaster.
How quickly you recover and get back on track crucial to your momentum, growth, resilience and ultimately completing what you started.
