Have you ever driven for a few hours only to realise you do not remember anything about the journey? Or sat down for 5 minutes on social media only to force yourself to stop an hour later?
It is not uncommon for us to fall into a state of unconscious action or perhaps more appropriately, unconscious inaction.
It mostly happens when we do repetitive tasks that have no meaning.
Same thing can happen when you plonk yourself at your desk for the day and just meander through. Getting to the end of the day and feeling like you achieved nothing, underwhelmed.
Days can turn into weeks which turn into months.
On the contrary, if you start your day with meaning, with intent, with purpose you can get into a state of conscious flow. Getting to the end of the day and being happy or even proud of the progress you made.
