#0383 Tay Tay Marketing

As I sit here like many parents of teenage daughters patiently and nervously waiting to buy Tay Tay tickets I can not help but think how brilliantly musicians use scarcity to sell out stadiums.

Would there be such a frenzy if she toured every month and did as many concerts that the fans demanded? Probably not.

Scarcity is a valuable tool to drive demand.
Less is in fact more.

If there is a limited supply of something people really want, lines will form and prices go up.

Tay Tay and Apple do this very well.

Next time you offer something you know is of value, try limiting the supply and see if peoples fear of missing out instinct kick in.

Remember though, limiting something no-one wants will not help you sell anything.
