Calm on the outside maybe, but on the inside it drives me nuts.
I have had to learn to be patient with others and temper my expectation of when something will get done.
Years ago I realised that what is priority for me is not always a priority for others. This has helped me deal with slower than desired responses.
Particularly true for sales. Just because you have a target to hit this month does not mean the buyer should or will buy now.
The key for me is in the discovery of their priorities.
Where does this “thingy” sit amongst the thousand thingies on their plate.
In my experience, if you are not in the top 5, it does not matter how good your offering is.
Become a priority to keep things moving.
