Just because you ask someone to do something does not mean they will do it.
Your family – likely.
Your friends – probably.
Your peers – maybe.

In most instances you will be ignored.
Influence takes effort by building trust.
Trust comes from evidence.
Evidence is proven in the doing.
So if you wish to increase your influence, do the doing not just the asking.
